Sayed Ali Radhawi is recognised for his role as a co-host of the After Maghrib Podcast on Ahlulbayt TV, and for using his voice to perform nasheeds and eulogies that both celebrate and mourn the Ahlulbayt (as). His poetry, melodies, and recitations have garnered him acclaim in the English Shia Muslim world, with his work being available on YouTube, Spotify, and various Muslim TV channels. Sayed Ali has recited in centres throughout the UK, as well as in private house Majalis, and has provided his services in communities both at home and abroad, including in North America and Iraq.
Sayed Ali Radhawi was deeply influenced by his late father, Sayed Abbas Radhawi, who passed away on Ashura Day in 2008 while reciting the Maqtaal of Imam Hussain (as) in Kuwait. Upon completion of his high school studies, he pursued a career at Sky Channel until the end of summer 2015. Since departing from his professional role, he has transitioned into an entrepreneurial pursuit and is currently married with two beautiful children.
